(no subject)

Last night I thought it would be a good idea to import my LJ entries, so I went ahead and queued that. Except then I decided maybe it'd be better to start with a somewhat clean slate... so I tried to make it stop, but ended up with all the entries and none of the comments imported. Now I'm going through from the start, and deleting the old entries. I won't get rid of them all, just the really old ones, mostly high school stuff.

After sorting everything out, I'm going to try and post more on here. Looking through my old entries, I used to post all the time, without worrying about the people who were reading (probably because barely anyone was reading back then). So since there are a lot less people on here, it might be a chance to get that feeling back.

ETA: wow, I really posted a lot in Year 13 o_O

DONE! Cut down from 934 entries to 146. It felt incredibly good to delete almost all of 2004, to make it as if it never happened at all.

I've still got to fix my profile, tags and icons, but apart from that I'm sorted. I may have to stay away tomorrow, having spent all day sorting through my old entries while keeping my sister, who's sick with tonsillitis, company. I have other things I need to get done this weekend, like buying slippers for my poor cold toes, and learning a bunch of kanji for my quiz on Monday.
